The Truth About Bond Funds

Despite what everyone has been writing about fixed income securities, the truth about bond funds is that they have actually done better than a lot of actively managed as well as index equity funds this year. Think about it; with mortgage rates only setting new all-time low records, so too will the rate market set new all time low records. This means that the best place to invest is not growth funds, it is not dividend funds and it does not mean you should sell bond funds. Instead, you should be stocking up, at least for the rest of the year.
