Of course forex information can break at any time. This is really a 24 hour market and announcements are being made in different time zones all over the globe. From time to time, there may also be an unpredictable event such as a huge disaster that will affect currency markets. While there is not a lot you are able to do about that, you certainly can monitor many of the economic events that effect the forex market. Most brokers provide a free forex information service in some form or another. Many also publish a forex calendar. How comprehensive these services are is dependent on the forex broker.
