Is China Still Hot?
August 30th, 2010
According to the latest data from Morningstar, people are pulling out of domestic equities and dumping their money into bonds and emergin markets. While some of those emerging markets have been strong performers, even this year, are they still the hot investments they used to be? My thinking is that none of them except China has the right intellectual controls in place to ensure a controlled, standard growth curve. So if anything, China Funds should be the investment of choice these days. Instead of taking all of that overheated growth and returns, why not settle on the steadiest of them all? The more likely economy to prosper is China.
